Every facet of The Mark, from the grand and striking lobby to the elegant appointments in the guest bathrooms, has been designed or selected by the legendary French designer Jacques Grange, bringing old-world flair into the modern New York City world.
- Each of The Mark’s 150 suites and guest rooms is a symphony in understated elegance, with the most luxurious Italian bedding and linen and furnishings in ebony, sycamore and nickel.
- All the hotel’s sumptuous lobby areas and public spaces feature specially created furnishings and artworks commissioned by Pierre Passebon, owner of the noted Galerie du Passage in Paris. Collaborating with Grange, Passebon has filled The Mark’s halls with striking and delightful pieces by designers and artists like Ron Arad, Vladimir Kagan, Mattia Bonetti, Paul Mathieu, Eric Schmitt, Rachel Howard, Todd Eberle, Karl Lagerfeld, among others.
- The Mark’s rigorous eye for modern style and detail extends even to the exceptional house staff, who have been outfitted with specially designed clothing by Turnbull & Asser of London.
